October 15 - Frisco Elementary STEM News!

Hello, Frisco Families, First of all, please be sure to check your child's classroom teacher's SeeSaw for some new STEM project reflections in grades 3-5. You will not be disappointed by some of the fun pictures of the amazing STEM work your kids are doing. Thank you PTSA  for purchasing Mystery Science. Mystery Science is a valuable tool for teacher planning as we create our PYP Planners (units). I am also very appreciative of my new shelving unit that is currently covered with fifth grade biosphere projects. THANK YOU! Turkey Trot Info Stay tuned for information about how to participate and volunteer for Frisco's Thanksgiving Day 5K Turkey Trot. Frisco generously donates $4 from each participant to our STEM program! More information coming soon! 5K and Grade 2 Kindergarten and second grade read Iggy Peck: Architect,  they learned that an architect is a STEM career, and they learned that architects build for beauty, durability, and purpose. After we read, we looked about famous pieces of architect...
